Sales Director/VP

The Sales VP / Manager role is focused on leading growth for the Hospital Group.   

This leader will have the autonomy to grow this $4.0MM book of business by leveraging personal expertise, a rich content library, superior implementation team, and leading a highly motivated & capable sales team.  This person will lead key aspects of this business, including prospecting, sales, closing contracts, and collaborating with the multi-function teammates to evolve and develop new solutions.  S/he will lead by example and inspire colleagues, rolling up sleeves and working shoulder to shoulder to achieve exceptional success in the acquisition of new hospital clients.   

The position reports to the President.  
 
Key focus areas: 
• Leading new business strategy and planning
• Working with multi-functional teammates to evolve existing solutions, leveraging technology & automation
• Creating / evolving our current business models (pricing, contracts & technology/automation, sales team and sales resource deployment) to drive new hospital sales
• Identifying and creating strategic partnerships  
• Continually improving our sales process  
• Developing, training and managing the sales team
• Collaborating with internal teams on sales collateral development 

Requirements for this position: 
• Deep understanding of the hospital industry, specifically:
     ▪ hospital systems, the impact of consolidation, how marketing decisions are made and how to navigate the complex buying / implementation processes within a system
     ▪ Service line (CV, ortho and oncology) expertise, including service delivery process and solutions
     ▪ Care delivery environments (hospitals, ambulatory, IDNs and group practices)
               o marketing
               o clinical application of patient communications
               o patient and physician engagement  
• Strong business acumen, financial management experience
• Personal sales and sales leadership success
• Client leadership & retention expertise 
• Understanding the value of content with experience in monetizing content
• Demonstrated success in the creation and implementation of a successful vision
• Experience using technology to automate marketing services  
• 15 years’ experience
