Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This role is responsible for discovering the technical business needs of stakeholders. He/She will become familiar with a variety of the company’s systems, concepts, and practices. The position requires creativity and flexibility to accommodate a fast-paced environment to manage projects from the creation of the project requirements, testing, to the production rollout. As a project manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. Specific Project Manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope. This involves organizing and leading project status and working meetings, monitoring and reporting on progress, managing and addressing risks, correcting deviations from project plan, and overseeing delivery for assigned projects. 

The Project Manager/Business Analyst must be self-sufficient and able to work on his or her own for extended periods with minimal management direction.

Duties:
  •  Query, analyze data, and present findings/recommendations to business stakeholders
  • Evaluate and redesign IVR platform for maximum efficiency and ease of use for customer
  • Create reporting for key KPIs, data assembly and targeted reporting as required by business needs
  • Document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to help develop a training plan
  • Assess change-proposals and define solutions to help the organization achieve its goals
  • Conduct and document internal testing
  • Schedule and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business drivers/owners
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Motivate project groups working in an agile environment, to enable them complete assigned tasks within set time, and to deliver top performance
  • Assist in team development by removing road-blocks to their work, mentoring them and making a good utilization of organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
  • Promote empowerment of the team by ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project with meaningful contribution
  • Encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders & manage the relationships between them
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with any third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree in a business-related field
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • 5+ years of telecommunications experience
  • PMP certification or Project Management related degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, including Visio
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency with Zendesk reporting and interpretation
  • Self-starter, motivated to help drive company “agenda”
  • Proven experience working in a Business Analyst role
  • Knowledge of proper requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, use case development, and process flow diagrams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information and reporting with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles to multiple audiences
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with individuals at all levels including the executive level
  • Proven ability to lead key projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
  • Strong planning processes and organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of trust and confidence
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
  • Ability to lead simultaneous initiatives in an entrepreneurial environment
