Paid Search & Social Media Strategy Lead

In this role, you will be the Paid Search & Social Media Strategy Lead working with various pharma and biotechnology clients.  This role will report to the Director of Search, Insights, and Media. You will work closely with cross-functional teams within the client’s organization as well as various agency partners to provide paid search and/or social media recommendations and share findings on various projects or deliverables.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for creating a social media strategy that ladders up to a brand strategy and business goals that is based on research from various platforms, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Create a social media content strategy with a purpose to build meaningful connections, increase brand awareness, and encourages community members to engage with the brand.
  • Ability to execute paid social programs that supports social media strategy and amplifies the brand messages on various platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Doximity, Sermo, etc.
  • Continuously analyze and make recommendations from social data/metrics that is insightful and actionable with plan of action that can be easily understood
    • Able to succinctly communicate social media strategies and results that ladders up to business goals
  • Responsible for creating paid search strategies that ladders up to a brand strategy and business goals that is based on research from various platforms: Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, SEMrush, Search Metrics, etc.
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics.
  • Manage Display network placement lists on AdWords and other contextual advertising platforms.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals.
  • Provide oversight and manage new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and ad accounts.
  • Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, and goals tracking for paid search and social media projects.
  • Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.
  • Provide oversight and work closely with the other team members to meet client goals as it relate to social media strategy and paid search programs.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years paid search experience
  • 5+ years social media strategy experience
  • 3+ years of experience in working in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry
  • Certifications: Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads Search, Google Adwords Video, Google Ads Display, Google Ads Measurement, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional
  • Expert knowledge of FDA guideline as it relates to pharma brands operating on social media
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or related fields
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and team management
  • Strong time management skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions oriented
  • Experience in client and team management in remote/hybrid environments
  • Initiative to respectfully drive change in quickly evolving space
  • Knowledge and focus on analytics and ROI
